Ford still believes in her, and after her one off in Xfinity, maybe rightfully so. Xfinity cars are much more dependent on driver talent input than the wide open high DF trucks. Although, sending her back to that series is probably a waste of time. It sounds like they tried to get her an xfinity ride and the few Ford seats were full after the Custer demotion.

Trucks is a horrible development series. You are either up front or in the middle of people playing bumper cars.
Hopefully she can find the sponsor dollars into an Xfinity ride so her talent isnt squandered she has more desire and talent than trucks is showing. She could be a multi time champ in Cup

I’m not sure how good Hailie is after how bad she’s done in trucks but I do think her Xfinity performance showed she has talent. The fact is, she doesn’t have to clear an extremely high bar to be better than Danica was anyway. If she was able to run full time Xfinity, and win a race, then have a Cup career with moderate success, she’ll have raised the bar and given women competitors someone to look to beyond Danica.

Yeah but its a bad development with his teams. Ford is lacking to fully invest like they used to. Penske did it because Roger paid for it , not Ford.

Also said that it was going to have a tailgate tho not ruling it RFK tho. Brad has an eye for talent and would love to see him have an influence in the truck series again

Hailie Deegan Officially Joins ThorSport Racing in Trucks For 2023.
Deegan will pilot the team’s No. 13 Ford F-150. The departure of Christian Eckes, who moved to McAnally Hilgemann Racing’s No. 19 entry for the 2023 season, made way for Deegan to join the team.
