4 car stayed out too long. Poor decision. Giving up too much time. I just don't understand it.

And then a ho hum stop time wise. No sense of urgency. Don't get it.

Now running 14th and was a 7-8th place car all day. After the Hamlin pit and pass of the 41 he's 11th. So net loss of 4 spots by staying out after everyone had pit. Why? Short pit was the way to be aggressive, especially when the car takes 15-20 laps to really come in so you get ahead of that also. I've seen it so many times. Albeit me to question Childers but just seems like an obvious mistake on the last stop.of the race

When you pit 1 lap or 2 earlier for tires, it's usually always works out better, I don't know why the crew chiefs don't understand this. lol.
