I really don’t understand what people have against him, it’s clear he has talent and seems like a really nice guy

Of course he has talent he would not be there if not, but there are different levels of talent. You have your Kyle Larson talent and you have your Bubba Wallace talent. Huge difference especially when your filling the seat of Harvick.

What are you basing this off of? He’s only done a total of 10 cup races his whole career and already has 3 top 10s including a 2nd place finish, that’s pretty good for someone thrown into a car like this twice over and who just started in cup

Apparently SHR thinks he has what it takes. There are a lot of others they’re jumping him to the front of the line for.

Wonder if Rodney is staying on as CC? I really thought Preece would slide over to the 4 and the open seat would become the 41. I guess that's still possible.

Good for Josh either way. Big time ride to get into if it is, in fact, the 4.

That's a good deal. Real curious to see how that goes. They are both racers at heart much like SHR as a whole. I'm excited for him and the 4 team but we still need to park one or two in VL and cap this thing off in winning fashion!

Look for Rodney to lead this young man.... and the fact the chances he has had driving cup with HMS is a freaking jewel!

We can Monday morning quaterback about Berry in time. He deserves this chance and time will tell what he does with it. Drivers have come along over the years that we thought were homeruns, that didnt pan out. The opposite has also happened.

Berry has talent no doubt but he only has 1 full season of xfinity under him. Yes Ty gibbs did too but he also showed better results than Berry. He would probably benefit from another season in xfinity but thats just my opinion. A fear though is also how bad SHR has been this season compared to years past. It'll take time for results to happen naturally but if they don't after time then who does the blame fall on there?

That's fine but even last year showed SHR was struggling. Despite Harvick having the 2 wins and Briscoe at Phoenix it wasn't anything to write home about. This year year they are way out to lunch. Plus as we've seen SHR can end up as a rotating seat if performance is not there and there will be pressure on him to perform.
